Student Life.

Student Life.

4-days per week.
50 weeks a year.

Our school hours are 10am – 3pm, Tuesday to Friday.

Generally, but not always, Monday is a student-free day. We say generally, because it is quite common for additional learning opportunities to be scheduled on a Monday.

The same is true for weekends when adventure-based or community activities are held. Also, when we say 10am-3pm, we mean these are our core operating house, but there's always more going on before or after these times.

We have a 'Big Breakfast' on Tuesday's and a 'Shout-out lunch' on Thursdays.

On top of this, our School is open 50 weeks a year. We don't do 'school holidays' like everyone else (except for 2 weeks during Xmas and New Year). Instead we offer a whole range of exciting opportunities that we are sure you will be interested in.

Of course, you get to choose everything you do, so if you need a break, then no worries.

A typical week.

There's hardly a 'typical week' at our School, because we respond to your needs and interests. We do not expect you to fit into our timetable. We have a very different kind of schedule.

On any given day you will be engaged in projects, either in a small group or on your own. There are always a range of other learning experiences that you can select from, including creative arts projects, entrepreneurial programs and activities, or outdoor adventures like bush walks, mountain-biking, or kayaking (and much, much more).

After the first 6 months, you will also have the opportunity to apply for a legitimate part-time job in one of our school-based enterprises that we call 'Work Ventures'. This is a paid work experience opportunity that is underpinned with a Cert 3 in Business.

Every day at our School is an opportunity to explore your interests and passions!
