What could be
more important?

We understand that positive mental health and wellbeing is important (and not just as a basis for learning). We also understand that everyone struggles at times. That’s normal.

But for us, mental health and wellbeing is not something you learn in a class. We don’t do ‘positive education’ as a subject. We try to integrate it into everything we do.

For example, when we start new things it’s quite normal to feel anxious, and that’s when we talk about where we focus our attention. Sometimes (actually, quite often) we have that self-limiting voice in our head that tells us we can’t do things, so that’s when we talk about things such as growth mindset. When things get hard, we learn about grit and resilience. It’s always about learning in action.

Life-coaching, not counselling.

If you want to play better tennis, you might want to find a coach. This is our approach to life. So, if you want to get better at ‘life’, we have the best life-coaches you’re likely to find.

This is not counselling. We don’t just talk about things when they go wrong. This is a positive and strengths-based approach that is based on trusted relationships with people who can help you to find your own way.

We don’t have youth workers, we have ‘navigators’. A bit like life-coaching, our navigators help you to figure things out in ways that you can control. Maybe you have housing issues, or a Centrelink ‘thing’. Whatever it is, we will work alongside you to help you get whatever support you need. We do this in a way that builds your own ability and confidence to deal with whatever life throws at you.

We have access to just about anything you can think of:
