The ‘Hub of Opportunity’ is an online source of community-based projects and opportunities. Here you will find an unlimited range of projects, volunteer placements, competitions, events, and a whole lot more!

The idea is to engage you in the real world, doing useful and practical things, as a context for learning things that really matter. Don’t worry, we’re not going to throw you in the deep end. There are lots of small and short-term opportunities to build your skills and confidence, before you take on the world!

Maybe you have your own ideas of what you want to learn about? Or perhaps you might want to hear what other students have in mind. There’s a fair chance that you will find people here that have similar interests.

In our ‘Imagination Factory’ you will be able to explore your interests (or others), to develop individual or small group projects of your own. This is part ideation and part planning in a fun and creative conversation. Once you have an idea, we will help you with a project-design process that you can learn along the way.
